This past Sunday was a baptismal service at our church. We saw 18 people stand up in front of their friends and family, professing their desire to follow after Christ. Jeruid and I were both blessed to see students from our small groups get baptized. Each person who is baptized writes their story of how they came to a belief in Jesus Christ, and why they are choosing to get baptized. It amazes me how God works in so many different peoples' lives, in so many different ways.
Zach asked Jeruid to go into the water with him along with another boy from the small group, because of the roles they played in leading him to Christ. Jeruid was blessed to be able to participate in baptizing Zach along with Pastor Greg!
Shelby, a girl in my small group, also got baptized. I have been blown away with how much she has grown in her faith over this past year. Shelby is always willing to step up and serve wherever. I am so excited to see the fruit in these young peoples' lives!
This is just about as good as it gets! Praise God for the way He is using you two in the lives of these precious students!
